These prints are faithful reproductions of original photographs taken circa 1850-1950. As such, they accurately preserve the aesthetic, technical and historical qualities of the original images and the camera equipment of that era.

Obviously there were no color cameras at the time these photographs were taken, and yet some of them are in color. These particular color images are unique, in that they were hand tinted at the time by artists or teams of artists.

You have a choice of four different options when purchasing these prints:
1) 9.25" x 6.00" print. Mounted and matted (Chantilly off-white matting) to fit 14" x 11" frame.
2) 9.25" x 6.00" print. Centered on 11" x 8.5" white cardstock which will fit directly into a 11" x 8.5" frame.
3) 17.5" x 11.5" print. Mounted and matted (Chantilly off-white matting) to fit 24" x 18" frame.
4) 17.5" x 11.5" print. Centered on 18" x 12.00" white cardstock which will fit directly into a 18" x 12" frame.
